Irvine Valley's women's volleyball team rolled through its second straight opponent.
The Lasers went on the road to Chaffey on Wednesday night and swept the Panthers, 25-12, 25-13, 25-8.
IVC swept Citrus to open the season last Friday night at home.
Irvine Valley hit .379 as a team in the match.
Sophomore outside hitter Taira Ka'awaloa led in kills with 12. Ka'awaloa hit .529 on the night. She added six digs and two aces.
Sophomore outside hitter Olivia Aguilar chipped in with 11 kills, three digs and four aces.
Freshman middle blocker Alma Entesari finished with seven kills and hit .750. She also had three aces.
Sophomore right side Diamond Brogan contributed four kills and two blocks.
Setter Megan Ramseyer ran the offense with 29 assists and also had four digs and one ace.
The Lasers had 14 aces as a team on the night.
Irvine Valley will face a tougher test on Friday when it hosts College of the Canyons.
The Cougars went 4-0 and won the Pierce Kickoff Classic last week.
Canyons swept Golden West, Pasadena City and Pierce before beating Bakersfield in four sets (28-26 in the fourth set) to take the event.
Canyons sophomore outside hitter Emily Burns recorded a combined 28 kills on the day to lead the Cougars.
Four Cougars recorded double-digit kill totals in the championship win over Bakersfield with Burns (17), Caroline Page (15), Shayla Johnson (14) and Toni Bito (10) able to do damage.
Setter Rachel Perez was also a key contributor, with her 52 assists and three aces.
