The California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA) released its 2026 Pre-Season All-American List in conjuction with this month's start of the new season.
Sixty-eight players from 43 different colleges were represented including nine players picked as 2025 All-Region selections.
And one of them was Irvine Valley freshman third baseman Edison Polanco.

Polanco, who was on the South list, has already committed to play at Division I Loyola Marymount in 2027.
The third baseman spent last season at El Paso Community College in El Paso, Tex., which is a NJCAA school, but did not play.
He competed his high school baseball at Bettye Davis East Anchorage High in Alaska.
Polanco also played in the Alaska Baseball League for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots last summer.
He saw action in 13 games and had five hits, including three doubles with four walks, three runs and four RBI for the Pilots.
In one of the games, he laced a two-run double in th top of the ninth to give the the Pilots an 8-7 victory over the Anchorage Bucs at Mulcahy Stadium.
Irvine Valley officially starts its spring season on Friday, Jan. 23 at Long Beach City at 1 p.m. with a home game to follow on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 12 p.m.
