After an impressive start to the season the Irvine Valley men's basketball team entered the California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association state rankings this week.

The Lasers are ranked No. 14 in the state after beginning the year 4-0.

IVC earned two hard-fought victories and won its own 25th Annual San Juan Hills Toyota Classic last week.

Irvine Valley defeated previously ranked Cerritos, 63-59, in the final on Friday.
