The Irvine Valley freshman No. 1 beach pair of Tori Esko and Jazlynn Fu were recently named second team all-Orange Empire Conference.
The duo had a solid season and nearly reached the second day of the Orange Empire Conference Pairs Championship. The tournament took place on Apr. 22 and Apr. 24 at Irvine Valley.
Esko and Fu also competed indoors last fall for the Lasers.
They helped the beach squad capture four solid matches toward the end of the year and end with a record of 5-19 overall and 5-9 in OEC play.
Irvine Valley's pair of sophomores Ellyza Quiat and Emmi Scelzo were also named second team for the Lasers.
