Irvine Valley sophomore baseball player Tyler Eastham has committed to NCAA Division Chico State.
Eastham, a right-handed pitcher, appeared in 16 games overall with 12 starts on the mound this past season.
He threw a team-high 68.2 innings and ended with an ERA of 4.46 for the Lasers.
Eastham went at east five innings in eight starts on the year.
In conference action, he made eight appearances and made seven starts, finishing with an ERA of 4.24 in 40.1 innings pitched.
Eastham, out of Edison High in Huntington Beach, had a record of 3-5 with one save overall and went 1-4 in the OEC in 2025.
He ended up being named second team all-conference for his efforts.
Eastham struck out 45 batters in his 68.2 innings overall.
Irvine Valley ended with a record of 16-24 on the year.
He is headed to a Chico State program that competes in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
The Wildcats finished with a record of 31-22 overall and 22-18 in the CCAA.
They went 2-2 in the CCAA Championship tournament, defeating Cal State LA and Cal State Dominguez Hills.
