Irvine Valley's women's flag football team moved up in the latest round of the JCGridiron.com Filthy 20 Rankings.
IVC is now ranked fifth behind only Florida Gateway, Wallace in Alabama, Ventura and Dayton State from Florida.
Saddleback is No. 6, Cypress is No. 8 and Golden West comes in at No. 13 as Orange Empire Conference squads.
The Lasers recorded a strong win over Saddleback, 26-6, two weeks ago and then shut out Cypress, 20-0, last Thursday in its last two contests.
Irvine Valley has a record of 11-4 overall and 2-2 in the OEC.
This week, Irvine Valley plays at Norco on Tuesday and then hosts Golden West as part of a conference doubleheader at 4:30 p.m.
