IVC finished with a record of 15-4 overall, was co-champion of the Orange Empire Conference and then won the first ever OEC Tournament to cap off the year.

Irvine Valley, led by second-year head coach Sami Logan, won its final six games of the season, including coming from behind to defeat rival Cypress, 32-27, in the conference tourney championship game, 32-27, in the final minutes on Apr. 30 at IVC.

The sport continues to grow across all levels and the Lasers are looking forward to continue building the program in the coming years.

IVC has already had three players from this past spring season commit or sign with four-year colleges, including OEC most valuable player Maia Helmar, who is headed to NCAA Division I Cal Poly.

A full question and answer story with coach Logan will be released in the next two weeks.
