The Irvine Valley women's soccer team has a big match coming up on Friday at home against one of the toughest teams in the state.
IVC takes on Cypress at 3 p.m. in an Orange Empire Conference match.
The Lasers, who have a record of 7-3-0 overall and 1-2-0 in the OEC, defeated Santa Ana, 1-0, in an Orange Empire Conference match on Tuesday on the road.
Freshman forward Paige Shanahan scored in the 81st minute to secure the victory for IVC.
The Lasers had plenty of chances and out-shot the Dons, 24-1, in the match.
The team was back at it in a hard practice on Wednesday and Khachik was there to capture photos ahead of the conference match against the Chargers.
