The Irvine Valley women's soccer team will be looking to bounce back on Friday at home against Orange Coast in an Orange Empire Conference match against Orange Coast at 3 p.m.
The Lasers played at Golden West on Tuesday and the match was scoreless at halftime.
But Golden West scored three quick goals to start the second half to take control.
The Lasers rallied late in the contest with two goals by leading goal-scorer Kuuipo Laumatia, but still fell, 3-2.
IVC's record went to 8-5 overall and 2-4 in conference play.
The team was back at it in a hard practice on Wednesday and Khachik was there to capture photos ahead of the next conference match against the Pirates.
