After defeating Southwestern last Tuesday, 2-1, for its first victory of the season, the Irvine Valley men's soccer team took down San Diego Mesa, 6-0, on Friday afternoon on the road.
Irvine Valley received goals from freshman Andrew Roldan (2), sophomore forward Finn Monk, sophomore forward Isaac Nixon, sophomore forward Armin Tehrani and freshman forward Drew Payne.
The Lasers out-shot Mesa, 24-3, on the afternoon.
