Standout Irvine Valley sophomore men's soccer player Armin Tehrani has committed to NCAA Division I Cal State Fullerton.
Tehrani was one of the best offensive players in the 3C2A and led the Orange Empire Conference in points last fall.
He was named the offensive player of the year in the OEC and IVC's offensive player of the year.
Tehrani led the conference in points with nine goals and 11 assists on the season for a league-leading 29 points.
Tehrani, out of University High School in Irvine, was named first team all-conference.
He played and started in 19 matches for Irvine Valley on the year.
His best game of the year was last Oct. 3 against district rival Saddleback.
Tehrani scored a hat trick (three goals) on the road in a 5-3 Irvine Valley win.
Tehrani added one assist in the game for seven points total on the day.
He had multiple points in 10 contests.
Tehrani also helped lead the IVC team to an Orange Empire Conference title and a trip to the So. Cal. Regional Playoffs.
Tehrani is headed to a CSUF squad that had a 8-6-6 record overall last year and reached the Big West Conference Championship tournament.
