The Irvine Valley men's soccer team hosted El Camino on Tuesday in its first match of the 2025 season.
The Lasers gave up two goals in extra time and fell, 2-1.
Freshman Andrew Roldan scored in the seventh minute to give IVC the early lead and Irvine Valley had plenty of chances, but El Camino scored goals in the 92nd and 95th minutes for the win.
IVC now travels to Salinas to its annual trip to the Hartnell College tournament for matches on Friday and Saturday.
