Irvine Valley's men's soccer team had an impressive start to Orange Empire Conference play on Tuesday at home with a 4-1 victory over Orange Coast at home.
Sophomore forward Isaac Nixon was the star with three goals and freshman forward Jonathan Minney added a goal and an assist.
IVC moved its record to 4-4-0 overall.
The team was back at it in a hard practice on Thursday and Jesus Martinez was their to capture photos ahead of their conference match at Saddleback on Friday at 3 p.m.
