Because of President's Weekend, Irvine Valley's men's basketball team will play this Tuesday and Thursday at home instead of the usual Wednesday and Friday's during Orange Empire Conference action.

IVC hosts Riverside on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in a key conference match-up.

Riverside enters the night's action with a record of 15-9 overall and 7-3 in the Orange Empire Conference.

The Tigers are ranked No. 24 in the state and have been playing well.

The Lasers lost a tough one on the road, 76-70, at Santiago Canyon last Friday.

Irvine Valley battled back to within two points late in the contest, but couldn't get any closer. IVC was paced by sophomore post player Matt Mowers, who finished with 22 points and five rebounds.
