Irvine Valley's women's basketball team is off to the 3C2A State Championship Tournament in Visalia after defeating Fullerton, 46-39, on Saturday night at home.

The Lasers, who were seeded second in the SoCal Regional Playoffs, will start the state event on Thursday against No. 3 from the North Laney at 1 p.m. at College of the Sequoias in Visalia.

Sophomore forward Neryah Lokeni led Irvine Valley with 12 points.
