The Irvine Valley women's basketball team cotinued to stay one of the top teams in the state after two more wins.
IVC defeated Chaffey, 79-66, on Friday in its first game of the Mt. San Jacinto crossover on Friday.
The Lasers were in control throughout.
They had three players score in double figure points, led by sophomore forward Alexis Price with 23 points and 12 rebounds, four steals and four blocks.
Sophomore guard Symantha Barnett added 17 points and five rebounds and sophomore forward Neryah Lokeni contributed 10 points, three rebounds and three assists.
IVC led, 40-33, at the half and out-scored Chaffey, 20-17, in the fourth quarter to close things out.
The Lasers had to battle back to defeat host Mt. San Jacinto, 64-61, on Saturday.
Irvine Valley trailed most of the way, but dominated the fourth quarter, 28-11, for the win.
Price went off with 31 points and 13 rebounds.
Lokeni had 12 points, nine rebounds and three assists and Barnett finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
With the two wins, Irvine Valley improved its record to 8-1 overall.
The Lasers play again on Tuesdat at home at 5 p.m. against LA Mission at 5 p.m.
